As a taxpayer who regularly drives through downtown Toronto, I am imploring this government to prioritize my safety and the safety of other road users. Simply put, bike lanes save lives. Studies from around the world show bike lanes ease congestion, reduce emissions and are a boon to business. I expect the Ontario Government to focus on building public transit; something that is in their purview and will help with traffic.
