Have any of you looked at how cities in Europe have thrived without cars. The answers to our problems are right in front of your face and you just refuse to see them. When has a highway ever alleviated congestion or gridlock. You need to listen to experts in urban planning, infrastructure, etc instead of lobbyists or developers. Ripping up bike lanes is not only a waste of money and time, it's short sighted and does nothing to alleviate gridlock. You need to spend less time working on slogans or lining your pockets. Maybe you should actually do things that will make people's lives better.
