This proposal goes against any form of common sense and is an affront to public safety. There have been way too many deaths of bicyclist in Toronto in recent years. We need MORE protected bike lanes, not less. European metropolitan centres are able to handle bike lanes and huge amounts of traffic. Why can't we? It is also a huge waste of money and resources that would result in ripping up already completed bike lanes, Doug Ford has literally said he would do this. I strongly oppose this bill.
