This is an egregious overstep and is incredibly disappointing to see.
Municipalities are able to make their own transport decisions without Provincial oversight.
I am not a cyclist, but I can recognize that creating active transport alternatives can help take drivers off the road by encouraging convenient alternatives. Why are we fighting to make this more difficult?
This is such an obscene and disgusting piece of legislature that I'm confident that this is a culture war wedge specifically designed to distract from the highway expedition piece.
