This is an egregious overstep of power from the provincial government. This will not help with traffic and will only cause bikers to be put in harm's way. Induced demand is also a concern not considered in this proposal. Some bike lanes were just built and destroying them would be a double waste of money. I urge this government to do the right thing and keep bike lanes and stay out of municipal affairs.
