The air-pollution associated with motor-vechicals has been shown to cause asthma, permanent damage to lungs, cancer and premature death. This is especially true in areas adjacent to major roads which this bill is targetting.

Increasing the traffic on these roads will increase the air-pollution.

Bill 212 will increase the risk of premature mortality from heart disease, stroke and lung cancer. An assessment of these risks must be taken to protect the health of the impacted Ontarians.

Negligence in this on the part of the Government of Ontario opens us up to potential litigation.
