Hello. As a torontonian local who does not own a bike, I grew up along bloor st and never had bike lanes growing up. This has made a massive difference by improving my safety and ability to commute by bicycle in a quick and safe manner. I would like to express my displeasure and frankly, disgust over the proposition to remove bike lanes on bloor st. Friends and community members have died from car /cyclist accidents in Toronto and we need to improve safety measures for all parties, not actively make them worse.
