I agree with the current Ontario government that we need a market mechanism to combat climate change. But how can you have a market mechanism that does not put a price on pollution? You want to tear down cap and trade, and refuse to replace it with a carbon tax, so what's left? Regulation?

Regulation!?! How does that fit conservative ideas of capitalism?

Cap and trade may not be perfect. But we're better with it that without.
