Once again the Ontario government fails to plan for the future and learn from the past. Building More roads lead to more traffic. This has been studied extensively before. When the car is removed or restricted from where people live their lives improve through walking biking and free flowing public transit. The myth of the car as a sign of civil liberty is perpetuated by the lobbies that serve only themselves and not society as a whole. Rob Ford has no interest in helping a better society by integrating the well being of individuals into planning for the future.
