This is an uninformed, pandering proposal which will lead to unsafe conditions for all road users. Bike lanes do NOT cause congestion. Study after study has proven this to be true. The only way to ease traffic congestion is to reduce the number of cars on the road, by enticing people out of their vehicles and onto rapid and reliable public transit.
