I support ERO 019-8289, which amends the Rondeau Park Management Plan to keep cottages until at least 2038. Cottages have been a key part of the park’s identity since its founding in 1894.
Lease extensions or new agreements should be fair, not designed to force evictions through unreasonable terms, and must involve input from the Rondeau Cottagers Association.
The community is still waiting for the proposal promised under ERO 011-1300 in 2019 and looks forward to working on a long-term solution.
