In 2024 when most forward thinking municipalities are looking for ways to expedite active transportation it is asinine to propose a bill like this. Almost universally adding room for active transit reduces congestion.
The people proposing this bill are pandering to the political will of the few and not the needs of the many. This is an embarrassment on top of an already embarrassing set of policy moves that will continue to set the province backwards.
