Failure to address climate change is a failure to lead. The cancelling of the cap and trade program is a breaking commitment to businesses and not providing for a stable economic environment. It is also breaking a commitment to current citizens and future generations and their health and well-being. Repealing the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016 is not based on evidence and or rooted in reality. For a government looking for efficiencies, this is a highly inefficient decision.
