I am more than dismayed at…

I am more than dismayed at your government''s decision to cancel this piece of legislation.

The IPCC published its latest report last week, giving humankind scant years to curb greenhouse gas emissions so the global temperature would not rise more than 2C degrees above pre-industrial levels. ( And I see no work on your government's part to help deal with that increase.)

One of the recent Nobel prize winners, in economics, was honoured for his work proving that carbon taxes help reduce GHG emissions.

Yet the government is moving ahead with no plan in place for an alternative. Climate change is here; there is no debate.

This is reckless beyond belief.
