I very concerned recently…

I very concerned recently when the new Ontario Government decided to reject the legislation of the previous government regarding cap and trade.
Therefore, in the past few days, when I heard the UN report of the worldwide catastrophic climate changes the world will experience if we don’t cut back drastically in the next 12 years on our carbon emissions, I felt I should make my concerns known.
I am a grandmother. My youngest grandchild just 18 months old. What type of world is ahead for her and our other 4 grandchildren if we adults do not listen to the dire warnings issued by well respected environmental agencies? In recent years we have seen considerable climate change and the catastophies that have ensued because of the ever increasing carbon emissions and warming of planet earth. We see the signs therefore we must heed the warnings and make changes.
I urge the Government of Ontario to listen to these warnings and make the right policies and decisions regarding carbon emissions that will make the future safe and livable for future generations.
