This is a terrible idea, the streets in Toronto are already so dangerous for cyclists and this would be removing major pathways that are used. It’s a myth that bike lanes are causing more traffic, we need investments in transit and cycling to AVOID people needing to drive everywhere. I say this as someone who has lived in the city 24 years and is forced to drive sometimes when I would take transit because of convenience.
