I am writing to beg of the government to not pass this bill. At a time when climate change is making action more and more critical, this is such a step in the wrong direction. We need more, not fewer bike lanes. In the many years since I’ve been commuting to work by bike, I have seen ridership increase and office bike cages fill up. It is so encouraging to see. And the more people travel short distances by bike, the less congestion there will be. Please help us keep moving forward. Our children and their children will thank you.
