After moose hunting WMU 50…

After moose hunting WMU 50 since 1996 I have seen many changes in our tag numbers. Our group successfully drew tags for many years. We're lucky to have many great years to enjoy as a group.

We have an established camp that's been in use since 1956. Is there a possibility in tags being handed out to established camps in areas. This would be a group given tag only to established camps. Not given to tent and trailer camps which are temporary.

When the new system was put into place. We had one guy over ten points who had 11 and 9 hunters under ten. We successfully drew tags for years which put us at a major disadvantage in the new system.

In two days of scouting in our area I've seen 6 bulls and 4 cows. All bulls were three years to 6 years old.

There's a healthy population in our area as we've seen for many years.
