Ontario, and the entire world, cannot afford to walk backward from initiatives which proactively address climate change. The repeal of this program jeopardizes a growing "green" economy which should be supported and encouraged rather than stifled. Carbon emissions at the current level threaten our way of life--there is no other way to look at this situation.
If Ontario will have any chance at future prosperity it is imperative to take a long view and take climate leadership seriously. This means being bold and continuing to push for and support programs that drive sustainable innovation.
I do not support the repeal of this program, especially with little evidence of an action plan to replace it.
