We need a real climate change plan to reduce emissions, help people save energy and create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy. Ontario should put a price on pollution, make polluters pay for their emissions, and return the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians. It will take legally binding emissions targets in order to meet our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. Ontario can be 100% powered by clean energy by 2050. To get there, Ontario should end subsidies for fossil fuel development and redirect this money to renewable energy development.
