BIKE LANES prevent…

BIKE LANES prevent congestion. The more traffic lanes that are put in, the more it appeals to people who may not otherwise have chosen to drive, thereby putting more cars on the roads and increasing congestion.

We need to encourage MORE people to bike, and to make it safer for them. I support higher penalties for cars blocking/impeding bike lanes, and I support adding more bike lanes to all those already existing.

I do NOT support removing any bike lanes.
