I strongly disagree with this heavy-handed effort by the Ontario government to impose its own political agenda on Toronto in this misguided program to destroy existing cycling infrastructure without presenting any evidence whatsoever that it will materially or sustainably improve the city’s congestion issues. If anything, it will make Toronto a worse place to live and, for cyclists, a more dangerous one.
