This is huge leap behind. We need safe streets for everyone, it is not okay when people are being killed for the sake of car drivers convenience. Removing bike lanes will never solve the issue of gridlock, as was proven by experience many times. Look at Los Angeles, the city that sacrificed everything to expand highways, and it is one of the most congested cities in the world. This bill will force everyone to drive a car, which is opposite of freedom. I am very upset that many years of progress on city transportation is about to be destroyed for political reasons.
