I use the bike lines every single day on my commute to work. Biking is the fastest and most sustainable way around the city - it should be preserved and encouraged rather than punished. Biking in the road is dangerous. Drivers are reluctant to share the road and are aggressive. I would actively consider leaving Toronto if the bike lanes were abolished.
