- The public consultation is a mockery if supporting material can only be viewed in person.
- The overiding of municipal planning processes is anti-democratic and very heavy handed.
- There is minimal evidence to my knowledge that removal of properly planned bike lanes will significantly improve congestion.
- There is however significant evidence that bike lanes improve biker safety.
- For context I do not ride a bike. I drive or use the subway. I live near Bloor St. W
- I do not find bike lanes objectionable and indeed welcome not having bikes in mixed traffic.
- I strongly object to this legislation.
