Has the provincial government looked at other areas that impact traffic flow - specifically ride share operators, food delivery services, poorly funded public transit, chronically delayed Eglinton Crosstown and scofflaw drivers? There are no bike lanes on Hwy 401 or 404 and last check there is plenty of gridlock on these highways. Traffic is worse than prior to the pandemic, and it is short sighted to blame a few bike lanes and think this is a solution. Too much congestion is the result of too many cars on the road.
