I am a resident of S Marysburgh and vehemently opposed to the cancellation of the White Pines project. There are no grounds for this cancellation other than the loud voices of a determined opposition group.
The claim that it will save the taxpayer has not been presented with any calculations to support it. The use of the "caretaker convention" in claiming the IESO should not have issued the notice to proceed as the election writ had been dropped 3 days prior, is spurious at best and bordering on theft at the worst.
