I use the bike lanes on Bloor St., Yonge St., and University Ave almost every day and all year round. They are excellent in terms of efficiency in comparison to driving, especially during rush hour. And they reduce traffic, especially during rush hour. Please do not remove them and do continue to add other bike lanes.
