I’m an avid biker in Toronto and use the lanes year round. However I appreciate that gridlock needs to be addressed. I would suggest that commuters are not taking Yonge or bloor and that the bikes aren’t adding to congestion on these streets. However I’m not sure why the bike lanes on Adelaide and Richmond aren’t considered for the chomping block as they could be perfect commuter roads.
