Reconsideration of Bill 212 – “Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time Act” and Cycling Infrastructure
I am writing to request the reconsideration of Bill 212. My concerns relate to the provincial oversight and restrictions on the installation of cycling infrastructure. As someone who uses cycling infrastructure, there are significant risks for me and my family when there are no bike lanes available. Additionally, many people currently do not bike because it is unsafe to do so, and this kind of policy will continue putting individuals at risk instead of encouraging very beneficial infrastructure.
