In the midst of an obesity and mental health epidemic, this bill will remove safe access to incorporating excercise into people's daily commutes.

While we suffer under the environmental impacts of 100 years of automobile-centric infrastructure, this bill seeks to add dangers to more environmentally friendly transportation options.

This bill will endanger the lives of children, or at the very least stifle their independent transportation and relegate them to the back seat of cars.

This bill will hinder small businesses that have seen a resurgence in clientele since the introductions of these bike lanes.

Under the guise of being a "common sense" solution to gridlock, this bill will worsen gridlock - This is a demonstrated fact shown repeatedly by cities (including Toronto) who've adopted cycling infrastructure all over the world.

This bill is about as counterproductive as a bill can be. It refuses to acknowledge the basics of the problem it seeks to solve, it will incur several incidental negatives to the municipalities that chose to have them installed, and will waste provincial taxpayer money doing it.
