This proposal is a shocking waste of money and will do little to decrease traffic congestion. Traffic in Toronto exists because there are too many cars and the problems on Bloor, etc existed before the bicycle lanes were installed. A better solution is increased transit (when is the Eglinton line opening?!?) and tolls on those who commute into Toronto from the suburbs rather than use Go Trains.
