We need to prioritize environmental assessments for all provincial and municipal projects. We cannot forgo them for the construction of another highway.
Additionally, the province should invest its time in increasing public transportation at all levels. With this bill there will only be more congestion as the population grows. This bill solves nothing. We need to allow people to move through the province using public transportation or through our cities on bike lanes. It is imbecilic to restrict the construction of bike lanes, yet unrestrict the construction of highways.
