As a homeowner in Toronto, using all forms of commuting throughout my day, I believe the removal of bike lanes a sign of disrespect for those citizens choosing to use bikes to commute.
The province is suggesting that the car ir SUV, courier truck, delivery truck, construction truck) is the most important means of travel.
This is wrong and disrespectful and long term will be detrimental to all of us given our environmental challenges.
The province should focus on their jurisdiction and help build better mass transit and stop meddling in well researched bike lanes.
