Shutting down this project is folly of the highest order. Firstly, anyone considering investing in Ontario will think twice knowing the government could pull the plug on their project leaving them with no compensation for expenditures made in good faith and with no recourse to recoup their losses. And as for taking it all apart and restoring the site to ts original condition, White Pines should tell Doug Ford and company to take a hike. Secondly, this is short sighted in the extreme. Failure to significantly reduce GHGs and turn around our headlong rush to a climate disaster will leave a world for our children and grandchildren that will hardly be worth inhabiting. Our provincial government need to pull their collective heads out and start thinking beyond a four year election cycle.
