I can't make any sense of the decision to shut down the White Pines Wind Farm in the first place. Of course, if it were sensible to do that, then it should be done in a healthy and safe manner, but the healthiest and the safest manner is not to shut it down, but to bring the project, already heavily invested in by Ontario taxpayers, to completion. Refusing to complete it would be bad enough, but tearing down the mills already built? Why? Why? Why?

To me, this is an example of wanton destruction, against every interest that makes any sense - financial, environmental, business. health, sensible efforts to begin to deal with real problems facing all of us. What good could it possibly do "the people"to have their hard earned money wasted, their hopes of addressing fossil fuel pollution spat upon, the good jobs that would be involved in completing the project destroyed.

The current Ontario government seems to be on a rampage of destruction.
