Closing the White Pines Wind…

Closing the White Pines Wind energy project is hard to understand. It has been under development for a long period. It is designed to create electricity that would meet the needs of a large number of households in Ontario. This would eliminate or lower the burning of fossil fuels thus, lowering a source of greenhouse gas.

Since:

- we are all seeking to lower our burning of GHGs to protect ourselves from the negative effects of global climate change and;

- the project has been underway for a long time and;

- a great deal of time, work and money has been devoted to this project;

It seems like a very poor decision to close the project before it has provided the benefits that it was designed to produce.
