Removing bike lanes is outright foolishness and dangerous. It will kill vulnerable road users. Ontario Government may have total disregard for data and evidence-based policy making but this measure of actually removing bike lanes goes way beyond that. It is a jurisdictional over-reach. Ontario Government's disdain for residents of Toronto and the communities through which the bike lanes pass would lead to increase in cyclist injuries and death.
