I am writing to say I do not think the White Pines turbine project should be cancelled. Green energy sources are vital to the reduction of carbon in the atmosphere and it is clear that we are not achieving carbon reduction nearly quickly enough. Forest fires, freak rainfalls causing floods, tornadoes etc. etc are driving up the price of life and eliminating species in a rush towards extinction, perhaps of us all.
Reviving this project would say Ontario is open for business, and more importantly, smart business.
It now looks likely that 600 people died in the Camp fire in California. The Parry Sound fire could have done that here last summer.
