This bill is so short sighted. Congestion is not caused by cyclists or cycle lanes. It is created by cars with single occupants driving short distances. Some of the worst roads for congestion are ones where there are no cycle lanes.
The province of Ontario needs to catch up with the rest of the world where waterfront areas are made “green “ again; public transport works and congestion charges are used to encourage people to reconsider their driving habits.
