I bike everywhere as my means of transportation and depend on bike lanes to feel safe. It’s already rough out here for cyclists and I’ve seen too many friends get in accidents this year from drivers who don’t know how to share the road. The newly introduced downtown bike lanes have been absolutely critical to my daily safety. I use them every day. Remove them would be a grotesque misuse of public funds that will put lives in jeopardy. Whatever psychotic political game Doug Ford is playing boils my blood and is based on no evidence that suggests removal of bike lanes is a good idea. He is hell bent on destroying Toronto. Save the bike lanes and save Toronto from Doug Ford!!!
