This is absolutely ludicrous…

This is absolutely ludicrous!! The residents of Dresden deserve better than this. York 1 needs to find a more suitable location for a massive landfill, away from a populated area. We all know that this will expand into the largest landfill in Ontario once is is approved. We all know how easy it is to expand a landfill once it is opened. We all know that it is unsafe for a large poplulation to live less than 3.5 km from a landfill. Are you going to make sure the residents get a fair price for thier homes, the majority of people do not want to live in a town that is less than 1km from a landfill. Why not just purchase the entire town and let us move somewhere safe. Oh wait, there is a housing shortage, where could we all move!!! Are we going to be compensated properly for risking our lives?? Shame on Doug Ford, shame on the Conservative government for putting profit before peoples health and wellness. We will NOT take this without a fight.
