Please do not do this Dresden. It is our home and a lovely community, no one here wants this, this will ruin our homes. Ontario is very large and you can put this away from peoples homes, you have no reason to destroy our town other then the greed and corruption of the Chatham Kent government. If you need to put the garbage somewhere, pick a place far away from peoples homes please. You are risking our water, our river and our property values. Most people here are very hard working and we all are paying way too much taxes and we don’t come asking for hand outs, so keep your garbage and please leave us alone, or just put the landfill in Chatham proper, that city is already a dumpster fire so no one will notice.

But how can you really think it’s ok to skip the environmental impact study, when you plan on putting this in our town. Are you trying to punish us for most people owning their homes in Dresden and York can’t screw us in rent?

Honestly Dresden is an amazing place and since I moved out of the train wreck that Chatham has become, living here has made me so happy in life, to me this little town full of nice people is the Canadian dream and you are seriously threatening ruining this little peace of the Canadian dream and Canadian history because it will be easy to dump your trash here? You don’t have to do this you can pick a part of Ontario that is already awful, please do not ruin Dresden.
