Once again the Ford Government is putting corporate profits over the people. Gutting environmental protections for short term financial gain for the few, ensuring that Ontario will be worse off for the generations to come. Ontario's natural resources and beauty are one of our greatest strengths and deserve to be protected. These are the exact same kinds of cuts that are currently being done by our US neighbours as the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) who are in the process of gutting the Environmental Protection Agency. Ford pontificates and blusters about "Canada's not for sale!" but actions like this (and his shenanigans with the former public Ontario Place, now private corporate Therme Spa) make it VERY clear that Ford is.
