You are proposing that species, both at risk and not, are detached from the entire environement they rely on for life. This is a very clear attempt to pander to the usual business and develpoment interests that underlie the rotten heart of every proposal coming from this corrupt government. By pretending that a species influence and dependence exists only in a legislatively defined boundary you deny the rich and multi-connected process that is life on this planet.

Though you would claim otherwise, allowing your "proponents" to proceed without any actual fact-based investigation will reult in much damage to the ecosystem that, need I remind you, we all share and rely on. Again it is not at all surprising that your first (and perhaps only) loyalty is to business and a shameless pursuit of profit.

That this wholesale abdication of enviromental responsibility is presented under the rubric of unleashing prosperity gives the lie to your attemp to stand up as any kind of champion for an already threatened environment.

I would ask you to do better but I fear that you would want to know how better could be measured in dollars, and I won't encourage that.
