What is the definition of Species at Risk. The mission of all of us to to protect the habitat for all species at risk. Who knows the tipping point for these species where their extinction cannot be prevented. Adding economics, social concerns only muddies the water distracting the mission. How can you put a dollar sign on the value of any species. Why do humans think they strifve to be the master of this earth with a vision that ends in their wallet. Why would you give power to decide a species survival to politicians who by definition are dedicated to their reelection and no knowledge of responsible environmental education. Really?

By all means reduce duplication but take the opportunity to improve on the Federal legislation.

We do not need to retreat to the age of the destruction of our modern acknowledged valuable environment in the ever darkening cloud of climate change.
