Stop eroding the protection of our wildlife and natural habitats in order to extract and exploit our natural resources for profit. They are not the property of the government to sell, but rather should be decided by the indigenous people who have protected this land for generations.

Limiting the definition of habitat to what is proposed is akin to telling someone that their home stops just outside their front door, and it doesn't matter if their street or neighbourhood is livable.

Our endangered species need MORE protection. To propose these short sighted changes during Earth month is particularly egregious.
