I am very concerned about the landfill proposal so close to the town of Dresden, and the effects it would have on the local area. The Provinces proposed legislation that would remove the voices of the people most impacted. The closeness of the landfill to then town itself. The pollution if the air effecting the schools, business and residences. The damaging effects on the watershed. The possible contamination of local drinking water,including the effects on a tomato processing plant, located in the town.The heavy traffic in the intense agricultural community in the area.Landfill trucks competing with Tractors, wagons, extra wide equipment, combines, and also grain trucks and gravel trucks. Our roads are already congested with the active agricultural industry.
