I understand Acts need to be updated. My concerns is that this update is not in alignment with the Ontario people. When looking for resources on this topic, there doesn't appear to be public groups voicing this request. Sadly, it looks as though the Private sector is a voice in this request. As the government of Ontario you represent the people first. Although the private sector provides numerous positive services for the people of Ontario, the primary motive for their success is financial gains. Endangered species will always be a benefit for the public and not a benefit for the private due to the nature of no financial gains. Please, as the defenders and representatives for the Ontario people, do not change this Act.
