I oppose Bill 5. It guts protections, ignores science, and tramples Indigenous rights. This bill will destroy ecosystems. Without consultation with experts, you are giving developers the unfettered green light to bypass environmental safeguards without regard for consequences for future generations of Ontarians. Doug Ford proudly paraded around during the federal election campaign as if he is "Captain Canada" and proclaimed that he will stand against any attempts by the USA and Trump to annex Canada. Trump and his administration proposed similar changes in the USA. Ford and his ministers should prove to Ontarians that they are not the Canadian equivalent of Trump and his minions, willing to sell out anything and everything for a buck.
